Suzuki to sell two-wheelers online on Snapdeal

JAMMU, Nov 23:  Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), subsidiary of one of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, has tied up with India’s largest online marketplace Snapdeal for the sale of its vehicles.
According to Masayoshi Ito, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd., “A tie up with an online giant like Snapdeal was a logical choice for Suzuki as internet and e-commerce is starting to become a popular channel in India. We are sure that this collaboration will be profitable for Snapdeal, Suzuki and our customers.”
Commenting on the tie up, Tony Navin, Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives, Snapdeal said, “We are excited about having Suzuki two wheelers on our newly launched Snapdeal Motors platform.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited is a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan wherein they have the same manufacturing philosophy of value packed products right from the inception. SMIPL manufactures two-wheelers best suited for the valuable Indian customers. The Company started its India operation in February, 2006.
Customers will be able to browse Suzuki products on the Snapdeal Motors platform, select a vehicle, book it (via online payment of booking amount) and select a dealership in their vicinity from where the vehicle can be picked up.
As an initial launch offer, buyers who purchase Suzuki vehicles on Snapdeal can avail one year free vehicle insurance.
