JAMMU, Dec 13: Former Minister & MLA Marh Assembly Segment, Sukhnandan Choud-hary today took stocks of various developmental works started in his constituency.
Ex Sarpanch, Panchs and prominent citizens of the area apprised the former Minister about problems being faced by them. Sukhnandan listened to the problems of people from different villages and assured them for their early redressal.
During his visit he directed the concerned departments to speedy completion of the ongoing works.
He said that the Coalition Government had made administration more responsive and accountable to the public to achieve the desirable result on ground.
Promising to develop Marh as Model Constituency , he said previous Governments had failed to reach out to the people but present Government is committed to develop each nook and corner of the State. He also said BJP-PDP Government in the State is trying hard to bring the State on world tourism map.
During his tour he also visited Municipal Commi-ttee Ghoumanhasan and asked the authorities to identify the people who can be benefited under Pradhanmantri Awaas Yojna, which has been launched by the Central Government and under which financial assistance is provided to people who can’t construct their pacca houses at their own.
Ex Sarpanchs, Panchs and a large number of political activist were also present on the occasion.
