JAMMU, Apr 14: Former Minister and MLA Marh Sukhnandan Choudhary today inaugurated new transformer of 100 kv in village Kuntolla under Channu Chak Panchyat, which was a long pending demand of the people of the village.
While addressing a gathering on the occasion former minister asked people to make judicious use of electricity so that the transformer may not be overloaded due to unauthorized load. He said it will overcome the hardships being faced by the inhabitants of the area especially in Summer season.
People of the village complimented the MLA for redressal of their long pending problem of irregular supply of electricity.
Ch.Sukhnandan expressed that he is highly obliged to people of Marh Constituency for expressing their faith in him. He said he is committed to fulfill all his promises made during election.
Later, he joined another function held on the eve of Baisakhi festival at Nagbani and also took part in the Bhandara which is  organized annually on the eve of Baisakhi Mela.He said such functions spread the message of brotherhood in the society.
Among others who were present on the occasion included officials of PDD,district president BJP Jammu rural Omi Khajuria, Ex-Sarpanch Harjeet Singh, Ex-Sarpanch Hammy Chak and a large number of people of the area.
