Sugar prices end quiet on some support

NEW DELHI, Apr 7: Sugar prices closed on a steady note at the wholesale market in the national capital today following scattered buying amid restricted arrivals.
Marketmen said, apart from adequate stocks position, limited buying by stockists and bulk consumers mainly held sugar prices at the overnight levels.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per quintal)
Sugar retail markets – Rs 32.00-35.00 per kg.
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,100-3,200, S-30 Rs 3,090-3,190.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,900-3,020, S-30 Rs 2,890-3,010.
Sugar millgate (including duty): Mawana Rs 2,920, Kinnoni Rs 3,020, Asmoli Rs 2,980, Dorala Rs 2,925, Budhana Rs 2,935, Thanabhavan Rs 2,925, Dhanora Rs 2,990, Simbholi Rs 3,000, Khatuli Rs 3,000, Dhampur Rs 2,900, Sakoti 2,900, Modinagar 2,890, Shamli 2,900, Malakpur 2,880, Ramala not available, Anupshaher N.A, Baghpat N.A.,Morna N.A., Chandpur N.A., Nazibabad N.A and Nanota N.A.
