Sugar declines on ample supply, selective buying

NEW DELHI, Apr 23:  Sugar prices dropped by Rs 60 per quintal in the national capital today following heavy supply amid selective buying.
Marketmen said apart from large stocks position, sustained supply against restricted buying, mainly pulled down sweetener prices.
Sugar ready M-30 and S-30 prices declined by Rs 60 each to Rs 3300-3500 and Rs 3290-3490 per quintal.
Similarly, mill delivery M-30 and S-30 prices fell by Rs 40 each to Rs 3170-3360 and Rs 3150-3350 per quintal.
Among millgate section, sugar Asmoli and Chandpur dropped by Rs 50 each to Rs 3300 and Rs 3200 per quintal, while Kinnoni, Khatuli and Simbholi slipped by Rs 40 each to Rs 3360, and rest at Rs 3340 per quintal.
Prices of Mawana, Dorala and Sakoti eased by Rs 30 each to Rs 3280, Rs 3320 and Rs 3210 per quintal.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,300-3,500, S-30 Rs 3,290-3,490.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,170-3,360; S-30 Rs  3,150-3350.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3,280, Kinnoni 3,360, Asmoli 3,300, Dorala 3,320, Budhana 3,260, Thanabhavan 3,255, Dhanora 3,240, Simbholi 3,340, Modi Nagar Rs 3,210, Khatuli 3,340, Dhampur 3,220, Ramala 3,330, Bulandshar 3,220, Anupshar 3,310, Baghpat 3,350, Morna 3,340, Sakoti 3,210, Chandpur 3,200, Amroha N.T.
