NEW DELHI, Oct 19: Steady conditions developed at the wholesale sugar market in the national capital today as prices continued to move in a tight range in the absence of any worthwhile market supporting factor and settled at last levels.
Marketmen said sporadic buying against adequate stocks position mainly kept sweetener prices unmoved.
The following were today’s quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,070-3,270, S-30 Rs 3,060-3,250.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,880-3,240; S-30 Rs 2,870-3,210.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3030, Kinnoni 3,240, Asmoli 3,175, Dorala 3,005, Budhana 3,000, Thanabhavan 2,995, Dhanora 2,970, Simbholi 3,180, Modi Nagar 3,140, Khatuli 3,000, Dhampur 2,970, Ramala 2,905, Bulandshar 2,930, Anupshar 2,890, Baghpat 2,915, Morna 2,915, Sakoti 2,910, Chandpur 2,900, Amroha 3,060 and Nazibabad 2900.
