Please refer to the news item ”Substandard drugs supplied in Govt hospitals” DE Oct 24, 2018 which indicates that there are some wolves in lamb’s clothing in the Health and Family Welfare Department who need to be identified and punished. It is a matter of grave concern that the concerned authorities at the helm of the department are playing with the lives of the innocent people.
These people have no pity for the lives of people but have great lust for money. It is not very difficult to identify and punish such people. But there is a need for some officers honest enough to bell the cat. However, it seems that the present Governor at the helm of affairs is very much keen to eradicate corruption in the State. It is hoped that the matter shall be treated as most serious and strict action must be taken to prevent such malpractices in future. It is suggested here that the samples of medicines must be got analysed at least thrice from three different laboratories.
