UDHAMPUR, Dec 26: The students of Government Primary School Danori and local villagers of Danori in Udhampur held a protest demanding boundary wall and drinking water facility at the school premises.
The students boycotted their classes and came on road along with their parents. They were raising slogans against the Education Department and District Administration Udhampur for their failure to construct boundary wall of the school. Due to no boundary wall, there is risk to lives of the students because of Birma Nallha and National Highway adjoining the school, they explained.
They also alleged no drinking water facility and cooking gas in the school, because of which no mid day meal was being served to the students.
