DODA, June 6: The students of Government Middle School Goila tehsil Kahara today held a protest against non-availability of adequate teaching staff in their school.

Amid slogans, the protesting students joined by their parents, blocked the vehicular movement on the Gandoh-Thathri-Doda road at Tehsil Headquarters Kahara. They were demanding adequate teaching staff in their schools.
They were raising slogans against the Government and local politicians holding them equally responsible for the non-availability of teaching staff in the schools.
Later, Tehsildar Kahara and Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Batyas rushed to the spot and pacified the agitating students by giving them written assurance of providing adequate teaching staff as soon as possible.
On the assurance, the protesting students lifted their protest and vehicular movement on the road was restored.
