Jammu, Sept 27: The events of Rangoli and Skit were conducted today at ‘Display Your Talent-2017-18’ organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu. Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Satnam Kour, Dr. A.R. Manhas, Assistant Dean Students Welfare, Dr. Sanjay Sharma and other faculty members students & Scholars were present at the occasion.
In Skit competition, the first position was won by PG Integrated Team, JU, second position was won by GCW, Parade and GCW, Gandhi Nagar, stood third. Certificate of Merit was awarded to Bhartiya College of Education. Avinash Lakhnotra and Hempreet Kour, both from PG Integrated Team were declared Best Actors. Certificates of Merit in Acting were awarded to Gauri Thakur from GCW Gandhi Nagar, Pragya Salotra and Shaveta Saproo both from GCW, Parade, Akshay Mattoo from KC Law College and Kanav Gautam from GDC Kathua. Tanveer Dar, Shuchi Chopra and Chakresh Kumar were the Judges and Dr. Hema Gandotra was the Teacher In-Charge of the event.
In Rangoli, Sheetal Kumari from Institute of Music and Fine Arts stood first, while Ruchika Chowdhary from GCW, Parade was declared second and the third position was secured by Mohinder Kumar from GGM Science College. Certificates of Merit were awarded to Aman Kanathia from GGM Science College, Surbhi Sharma from GCW, Parade and Sheetal Sharma from IMFA. Jagpal Singh, Vijay Anand and Reecha Gupta were the Judges and Dr. Samridhi Arora was the Teacher In-charge of the event.
The event was coordinated by Sumeet Sharma, Drama Instructor. Divya Sharma, Kanika Sharma, Arti Devi, Mohit Mahajan, Pallvi Kunwer, Muneeb Tariq, Bharti Heer, Diksha and Sanamdeep did the Hall Management while Kulbhushan Thakur operated the sound.
