KATHUA, Mar 5: The students of Class 12th held a protest demonstration of second consecutive day here, today and blocked the college road by squatting on canal bridge for one and a half hour demanding grace marks in Physics Paper or re-examination of the paper according to syllabus the examination of which was held on March 1.
The protestors raising slogans against the authorities of J&K Board of School Education warned to continue agitation till the demand is conceded.
The traffic was paralyzed on this busy road and commuters faced many hardships.
The SHO Kathua Sarbjeet Singh later visited the spot and assured the protesting students that the issue was taken with Board authorities by the administration but they (students) were adamant that they will only budge after they are given grace marks in the paper or its examination is rescheduled as per the syllabus.
However later they lifted the road blockade and dispersed.
