SRINAGAR, Mar 14: The students who are on a ‘Capacity Building Tour’ to New Delhi today got an opportunity to meet and interact with Gen Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff at his office.
An Army spokesman said the tour is being undertaken for 28 students of Kulgam and Shopian districts by the Army to provide a glimpse of the development and employment opportunities available for aspiring youth of the State.
“The participants got an opportunity to meet and interact with Gen Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff. The Army Chief congratulated the youth for aspiring to lead a better life full of opportunities and urged them to spread the message of peace and prosperity once they return home,” he said.
“The interaction with the Chief of Army Staff left an indelible mark on students which would undoubtedly inspire them to achieve greater goals in life,” he added.
