Students flaged off for Bharat Dharshan tour

PULWAMA, Feb 8:   A flagging off ceremony of a group of school children comprising 25 students and two teachers from Tahab, Pulwama going on Bharat Dharshan tour to New Delhi and Ajmer was organized by 182 Bn CRPF at Pulwama today.
The aim of this tour is to expose the youth of J&K to social and cultural diversity of India. The students within the age group of 14 to 18 years, will visit heritage places and historical monuments at Delhi and Ajmer, besides paying homage at Dargarh Shareef at Ajmer.
The trip was flagged off by Amit Kumar Singh, Commandant 182 Bn CRPF in the presence of DC and SP Pulwama and other senior dignitaries of district administration, education department and  CRPF officers.
It has always been the endeavour of CRPF to provide ample opportunities to the youths of Kashmir to get them acquainted with the rapid advancement in rest of Indian states in the field of infrastructure, education and diverse fields of society.
Recently CRPF has also sent another such tour from Pulwama  and two more tours are also being organized from  Bijbehara and Anantang areas of South Kashmir.
These students will return back to Kashmir after  five days. During the tour they will be travelling by air and train. During 2015-16 CRPF has organized a large number of civic action programs that too covering different fields and aspects.
