JAMMU, Jan 5: Striker Cricket Club defeated Shastri Cricket Club by 29 runs in the ongoing KCSC Winter Cricket Cup, being organised by KC Sports Club at KC Public School ground, here.
Batting first, Striker Club scored a decent total of 165 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Umar was the top scorer with 61 runs off 53 balls, while Iqbal contributed 31 runs to the total. For Shastri CC, Vicky and Sunny took 2 wickets each.
In reply, SCC managed to score 136 runs in the allotted overs, thus lost the match by 29 runs. Chander top scored with 30 runs, while Vikas contributed 25 runs. For Striker CC, Uwaiz and Naeem took 2 wickets each.
