Strengthen mass contact: Pawar

ANANTNAG, May 11: Pardesh Mahila Congress president Indu Pawar today appealed the party activists to strengthen their mass contact with the people in various pockets and  identify the problems of the people and try to solve the same.
Addressing Mahila Congress workers at Anantnag town here today,  Ms Pawar said that people are not happy with the new regime as they have failed to come up to the expectations of the general public. The people have been deprived of the basic amenities and there is no governance at all. They are feeling cheated as the PDP and BJP have betrayed them.
She asked the party workers to enhance their mass contact with the people  and identify their issues and take up the same with senior officers concerned. She said that Congress is a secular and  democratic party and its ideology of secular character gives more strength to the country.  She said that to ensure progress of our State is main aim of the Congress party.
PCC general secretary Hilal Shah, Mahila district president Sheena Nadaf and other office bearers  Needa, Sumaira and  Masarat also spoke on the occasion.
