Srinagar, Feb 27: Minister of State for Forest, Environment & Ecology, Sheep and Animal Husbandry and MLA Pampore, Zahoor Ahmad Mir today escaped unhurt when a group of youth pelted stones on his cavalcade in Pulwama.
The Minister was on way to PDP leader Showkat Gayoor’s residence to condole his mother’s death in Ratnipora area. The escort of the Minister fired in air to disperse the protesters. A policeman was injured in clashes and police fired teargas to disperse the protesters.
