JAMMU, Jan 30: Minister for Works (Roads and Buildings), Abdul Rehman Veeri today told the Legislative Assembly that the Government is working on modalities to regularize the engineers who have been promoted against various posts.
The seniority lists, which are the pre-requisite for promotion/regularization of incumbents are being finalized and would be issued soon. The matter will be taken up with the PSC/DPC for doing the needful accordingly.
Replying to a question by Bashir Ahmed Dar, the Minister elaborated that the engineers promoted to the higher posts on OPG basis, are getting charge allowance as per rules which covers the difference between the pay of lower post to that of the higher.
