The people of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pardesh and Punjab feel indebted to Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India who appeared like an angel and proved a saviour of lacs of lives trapped in RSD back waters by gifting one bridge over river Ravi now named as Atal Setu. Due to the backwaters of the RSD many families were forced to leave their homes and hearth at mid night. Many families were separated from each other who had to compromise with the environment while settling themselves. The 88 sq. kms. long lake separated the kins like the Berlin wall. The people who were benefitted by the bridge request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to install the statue of Atal Jee, (known for the connectivity he provided to the country by linking east and west, north and south), alongwith one prestigious institute in the name of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Basohli for his everlasting memory. The Atal ji’s statue will stand for Statue for connectivity like that of Iron man S. Patel which stands for Statue of Unity. It is pertinent to mention here that there is no structure or any national level institute except one bridge, Atal Setu over river Ravi, at Basohli in the entire country. As such the PM is requested to install statue of Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee near Atal Setu at Basohli establish at least one national level institute like Ayurveda research center, Advanced engineering college or space science institute for the everlasting memory of the departed soul. The grateful people will remember his favours for ever.
