SRINAGAR : Reacting to statement of Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar in which he has reportedly said that terrorists can be neutralised through terrorists only, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said this could be only done by reviving and empowering the Ikhwanis, surrendered militants working with Army and other security agencies.
Looks like Mufti Syed is reviving & empowering the Ikhwanis. That’s the only way to carry out “terrorists killing terrorists” policy of MOD, tweeted working president of the main opposition National Conference (NC) in the state, which is being ruled by PDP-BJP coalition government.
Mr Parrikar had said at ‘Manthan’ conclave organised by a news channel that we have to neutralise terrorits through terrorists only.
However, one of his follower in a tweet said to Mr Abdullah that it was his father Dr Farooq Abdullah during 1996 to 2002 used Ikhwanis to kill Kashmiris. it was ur father who first used them to kill kashmiris, where were u at that time ws it allowed that time because u were in power, the tweet said.
