The recent statement of Dr Mustafa Kamal, the veteran National Conference leader, in response to RSS leader Mohan Bagwats statement said that the KPs were thrown out of the Valley under some conspiracy. But he did not elucidate what the conspiracy was or who was behind this conspiracy? Although it is crystal clear that the KPs were hounded out their homes and hearths by separatists forcefully, otherwise, who wants to leave his home. Under how many ordeals and difficulties the KPs have been suffering for the last 27 years is not hidden from any person. In addition to this, he stated that KPs population in Kashmir is only 30 percent and the rest 70 percent are muslims. Does he mean to say that people in minority have no right to live in a place like Kashmir which is an integral part of India? If so, what about our muslim brethren, living in every part of India enjoying comfortable and respectable status in every field.The responsible and outstanding leader should think on broad basis rather than having a myopic view of any problem.
