JAMMU, Dec 30: The Sub Junior Women Hockey Team of Jammu and Kashmir left for Ramanathanpuram, Tamil Nadu to participate in the 7th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship, being held from January 5 to January 16, 2017.
The team which comprises of 18 players and 3 officials, will have to play Pool matches against Assam, Gujarat, Dadra &Nagar Haveli and Coorg Hockey teams.
Sham Lal Sharma, retired SAI Hockey coach is accompanying the team as manager, while Gurmeet Kour, SAI Hockey coach is the team coach. Barkha Sharma is the In-charge of the team.
The team: Ishita Sharma, Anamika Bali, Shewani Sharma, Jasmeet Kour, Taniya Devi, Manpreet Kour, Kamini Devi, Manisha Das, Anuradha, Chanderpreet Kour, Kavreen Kour, Priya Thakur, Tannu Angral, Garima Bhargav, Pratiksha Rani, Simranjeet Kour, Indu Bhau and Shahida Batti.
