State Handball team leaves for Ujjain

JAMMU, Oct 8: Jammu and Kashmir senior men handball team left for Ujjain (M.P) to participate in 44th Senior Men National Handball Championship to be played October 11 to October 16, 2015.
The team consisted of 16 members of Jammu and Kashmir Handball Association.
Sandeep Kumar is the Manager of team, while Dev Raj, Sports Authority of India coach is accompanying the team as the coach.
The general secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Handball Association, A.K Raina assured good performance of the team at the national scene.
Meanwhile, the Handball Association of J&K is conducting selection trials for National Senior Women team for the upcoming 44th Senior Women National Handball Championship to be held at Pune (Maharashtra) from November 17 to November 22, 2015, at Playing field Shastri Nagar from October 9 to October 11 at 4 pm.
The Association advised All the players from the affiliated units of state to report at the venue on the said dates.
