POONCH, Nov 29: Stadium Orange defeated City Club Poonch by four goals to one (4-1) in the ongoing Hockey Championship, organised by Hockey Poonch at Sports Stadium, here.
The Championship is being organised by Hockey Poonch under the aegis of Hockey J&K and under the overall supervision of Kanta Andotra, president Hockey J&K.
Stadium Orange won the match by 4-1 goals.
For stadium Orange, Anjum, Karan, Karanjot and Vishu netted the ball in 20th, 39th, 45th and 56th minutes of match respectively, while for City Club only goal was scored by Mankaran in 15th minute of the match.
Nirdosh Kumar, In-charge Sports Stadium Poonch was the chief guest on the occasion, while prominent among others present were Matinderpal Singh, Hockey coach, Pawan Kumar hockey coach, Ranveet Singh hockey coach, DK Raina, Ram Prakash and Rajinder Singh.
The match was officiated by Harmik Singh, Vikas Sharma, Vishal Sudan and Agrim Raina.
The Championship is being conducted under technical supervision of Sham Lal Sharma, treasurer Hockey J&K.
