JAMMU, Feb 16: Shiv Shakti Sena today staged a protest demonstration at Janipur near PNB Bank against Health Minister’s decision to merge Col Chopra Nursing Home into GMCH Jammu.
The workers of Shiv Shakti Sena along with general public assembled at Janipur near ‘Saugat’ and started raising slogans against the Government and Health Minister, Bali Bhagat.
While criticizing the Health Minister, Rakesh Gupta, president, Shiv Shakti Sena, J&K, alleged that the Health Minister and present principal of GMCH Jammu are forming nexus to grab Col Chopra Nursing Home for their vested interests.
He said at present this Charitable Nursing Home is helping the poor and needy sections of the society by providing low cost treatment but after its merging with GMCH, it will become a Government acquired property, which will meet the same fate as GMCH, Super Speciality Hospital and SMGS Hospital.
