Jammu, Nov 22: Under Jammu & Kashmir Police Welfare Fund duly sanctioned by Police Headquarters J&K, Anil Magotra, SSP Samba handed over a cheque of Rs. 01 Lakh to Kanchan Balla, widow of Late Sardari Lal who was SPO in J&K Police under Belt No. 425/D-Samba and lost his life in an accident which took place on 12.12.2013 while serving in District Samba. SSP Samba said that the said Fund introduced in J&K Police is a benevolent fund contributed by and intended for the benefit of all ranks of J&K Police and their families/dependents.
