SSP Leh flags off 50 students for Bharat Dharshan Tour

LEH, Sept 6: As many as 50 students from different regions of Ladakh were sent on Bharat Darshan Tour by District Police Leh under its Civic Action programme.
SSP Leh Shargun Shukla formally flagged off the tour in presence of additional SP Farooq and SP Sonam Dechen. HQ Dy SP Suraj Singh, Dy SP DAR Sonam Dorjay and other officers were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the students SSP said that tour was aimed to enhance the mental horizon of children by proving them an opportunity to interact with different people from different region to explore many things.
Terming the student as Ambassador of Ladakh SSP urged the student to maintain discipline while travelling out of Ladakh to project Ladakh’s reputation at National level.
She added that Delhi is one of the best place in India for the students to learn many things including History, Science and Technology so the students from Ladakh will learn a lot from this tour. She also assured the students of fixing an appointment with Union Home Minister and also of holding an interaction session with Delhi Police to know about Delhi Police activity.
