SSP Crime submits preliminary report in death of MLC’s son

JAMMU, Jan 24: SSP Crime, Jammu, Mubassar Latifi today submitted preliminary report in the alleged medical negligence of GMC Jammu doctors in death of Sadhaya Arora, son of BJP MLC Ramesh Arora.
The preliminary report was submitted to the Joint House Committee, constituted to look into the alleged medical negligence of doctors, which was held under the chairmanship of MLC Ghulam Nabi Monga here on Tuesday.
The Committee reviewed the latest status and findings related to the investigations by the investigating agency and discussed the pros and cons related to the summary of the case viz-a-viz treatment of late Sadhya Arora and circumstances that led to his death.
The Committee fixed January 30 as next date of meeting for getting the preliminary investigation report examined by a team of Medical experts, comprising Director SKIMS and AIIMS New Delhi, their comment and opinion.
Legislators, G M Saroori, Devender Singh Rana, Dr S Bashir Ahmad Shah Veeri, Vibodh Gupta, Firdous Ahmad Tak, Surinder Kumar Choudhary, Superintendent of Police (Crime) Mubashir Lattifi, Senior Special Secretary Legislative Council, Mohammad Ashraf Wani and senior officers of Legislative Council  attended the meeting.
