BANDIPORA, May 14: SSP Bandipora, Sheikh Zulfiqar, under Civic Action Programe of J&K Police presented sports equipment to Ali Sports Academy (ASA) Bandipora at Sports Stadium, here.
DySP Parvaiz Ahmad Khan, some prominent sports personalities, students of ASA and parents were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Zulfiqar congratulated ASA and said that J&K police has selected ASA because of the Academy’s performance both at National and International level.
He also kicked off the three days District level Sqay Martial Arts competition at Sports Stadium Bandipora in which around 250 students of different areas of the district are participating.
District president Sqay Association Bandipora, Gh. Nabi Tantray thanked J&K Police in general and SSP Bandipora in particular and also presented a full set of Sqay Martial Arts equipment to Ali Sports Academy.
