JAMMU, May 17: Young Rovers, the winning team of SSB Inter District Football Tournament returned back to Jammu today from a seven days long SSB sponsored Study Tour to Delhi, Agra and Mathura.
The enthusiastic players were accorded a warm welcome by 66 Battalion SSB Jammu.
The team shared valuable exposure and experience with the SSB family.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Vijay Singh Jamwal, Second-In-Command; Barjeet Singh, Deputy Commandant;  Jeet Lal, Deputy Commandant; Dr Rajat Sehgal, Assistant Commandanat (Medical), Dr Mrinalini Singh and Assistant Commandant (Medical).
During the week long tour, young footballers of Jammu visited various historical stations and well known sites in Delhi, Agra and Mathura.
Team Young Rovers also participated in the Under-19 Football World Cup Ticket Opening Ceremony.
The players got opportunity to meet well known Spanish Footballer, Carles Puyol. They were also introduced to Sports Minister Vijay Goyal, besides Babul Supriyo, SS Deswal and Renuka Mishra.
The young footballers extended thanks to Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) for its commitment to promote youth.
