SRINAGAR, Feb 12: A Senior Assistant in the office of Joint Director Animal Husbandry Department, Kashmir, was caught red handed while accepting bribe.
The accused Gulzar Ahmad Lone was demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 5000 from the complainant namely Niyaz Shafi Rather of Bonapora Nowgam, Srinagar for release of CDR amounting to Rs 50,000.
A case FIR number 03/2014 P/S.VOK U/S 5 (2) PC Act Svt 2006 under Section 161 RPC has been registered at Vigilance Organization Kashmir and further investigation is in progress.
