Spray, fogging in Durga Nagar demanded

JAMMU, July 23: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DWC) has urged the Health Officer, JMC, Dr Anita to take immediate steps in saving the people in the area from mushrooming insects which can create health hazards in the area.
The president of the Committee Roshan Lal Raina in an appeal to Health Officer they urged her to issue orders for fogging and spray in the area so that the mushrooming of insects can be controlled.
Raina also appealed the Chief Engineer that the power curtailment should be reduced during these hot and humid days. He demanded that alternate supply of water be ensured in the area and all leakages be plugged at an earliest.
Meanwhile, the president of DWC inaugurated drain in Sector 2, tile work of Pushpati Mandir and renovation of Kailashpti Mandir Lane.
