JAMMU, Nov 23: A sports meet was organized in Govt Middle School Rathian, here.
Students of Govt Middle School Nagrota, Govt Middle School Rathian and Govt Middle School Meldi participated in the events including kabbadi, high jump and long jump.
The function was inaugurated by Zonal Education Officer Udhampur, Chand Krishan, who appreciated the unanimously decision of the Headmasters in holding sports meet.
Physical Education Teachers namely Rakesh Khajuria, Sunita Devi and Anju Devi officiated the events.
In boys and girls kabaddi, Midlle School Rathian bagged 1st position, the second and third position went to Middle School Nagrota and Middle School Meldi respectively.
In boys long jump, Rahul of Middle School Nagrota got 1st position, while Jeet of Middle School Rathian clinched 2nd and Sunil of Middle School Rathian got 3rd position.
In girls long jump, Tanvi of Middle School Rathian won 1st position, while Sapna of Middle School Nagrota got 2nd position and Rekha of Middle School Meldi claimed 3rd position.
In boys high jump, Rahul of Middle School Nagrota got 1st position, Jeet and Sunil of Middle School Rathian shared 2nd spot, while in girls high jump, Neeru of Middle School Rathian got 1st position, while Tanvi of Middle School Rathian bagged 2nd position and Parveen of Middle School Nagrota won 3rd position.
Prizes were distributed by Zonal Education officer Udhampur in presence of students and staff members, while the vote of thanks was presented by Headmaster Middle School Rathian, Kewal Krishan.
