SRINAGAR, Apr 8: The first “Let’s compete n check our fitness” weekly sports event organized by police was held at DPL in Budgam district today.
A Police spokesman said that today’s competition was for push up’s in two categories 15 to 20 years and above 20 years in which a large number of boys had come to compete for the said event.
“Mohammad Abid, a resident of Branwar Budgam in the above 20 years category and Syed Jame, a resident of Wadwan Budgam in the under 20 years category won the today’s competition. The winners were given a pair of Adidas sports shoes each by SSP Budgam, Tejinder Singh,” he said.
