SPO dies of cardiac arrest

BHADERWAH, Jan 4: A Special Police Officer (SPO) died of cardiac arrest while performing his duties here today, a police official said.
The SPO, who was a member of Special Operation Group (SOG) Bhaderwah, was posted in SOG Camp of old Police Station Bhaderwah.
He has been identified as Jaswant Raj (55), son of Lal Chand, a resident of village Dugga Chinta, tehsil Bhade-rwah.
The deceased was on job as gate entry at SOG Camp of old Police Station Bhaderwah till 9 am today. At around 11.45 am, he complained of chest pain and fell unconscious. He was immediately rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah by his colleagues, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
After completing legal formalities, the body will be taken to his native village with full honours.
