JAMMU, Jan 9: Speaker Legislative Assembly and MLA Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta, today released the magazine “Enquirer” documenting the ceremony held on 22nd of October at memorial raised at Shree Geeta Mandir Smriti Bhawan, Bakshi Nagar.
The Book release function was organized in remembrance of martyrs of the holocaust of 1947 at Muzzafarabad, under the banner of Shree Geeta Mandir Smriti Bhawan Committee.
While releasing the magazine, the Speaker assured the members for his full support towards raising their genuine issues at the appropriate and said that the BJP led NDA Government was committed and would support the rehabilitation process for the community and provide all possible help to them in future.
The Speaker said such moves connect our children with their heritage and would help them remain connected with its own culture and it is also going to benefit the future generation.
The visiting displaced community members expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for releasing the much awaited relief funds for distributing among the bonafide DP families.
