SRINAGAR, Jan 22: Former Union Minister and veteran Congress leader, Prof Saifuddin Soz has rejected Union Minister Javadekar’s assertion that if Modi is voted out, there will be anarchy in the country.
“Javadekar is not the only one talking ‘Humbug’. Many a psychopaths sing the same praise. Many learned political observers feel concerned that many a Constitutional institutions have weakened in the country during the Modi governance. A tragic aspect of Modi Government happens to be absence of the ‘Cabinet system’,” he said.
Soz said, “Under Article 75 (3) of the Constitution of India, a smaller executive body called the Union Cabinet is the supreme decision making body in India. It takes birth from the Council of Ministers which is collectively responsible to the Lok Sabha. This is what has not been happening all these four and a half years”, he added.
