JAMMU, Mar 30: Soujanya Kumar Sharma, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation visited the office of Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society to take stock of the the problems being faced by the people of Trikuta Nagar area.
During his visit, Vikram Gour, president of Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society and other members after extending warm welcome to Commissioner JMC, raised several demands for the welfare of Trikuta Nagar area.
They projected demands which included dust bin for collection of domestic garbage, development of nallahs passing through Trikuta Nagar, repairing of the street lights and high mask lights in the area, black topping of all badly damaged roads, ban on polythene carry bags and sterilizing the stray dogs in the area of Trikuta Nagar.
After listening the demands of the people, Commissioner JMC, gave directions to the concerned wings to redress the problems immediately and assured the Welfare Society that JMC will shortly begin a clean-up drive in all wards of the City of Temples, under Clean Jammu and Green Jammu slogan.
Secretary JMC, Health Officer and Chief Enforcement Officer were also present on the occasion.
