JAMMU, Feb 21: J&K Bank Academy and Jammu United scripted solitary goal victories over their rivals in the ongoing 1st Maharaja Hari Singh Memorial gold Cup Football Tournament, being organized under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
In the first match played today, J&K Bank Academy defeated Vijay Club by one goal to nil (1-0). Varinder scored the goal in very first minute of the match.
In another match, Jammu United got the better of BSF by a solitary goal (1-0). Munish Manhas netted the goal in 62nd minute.
The matches were officiated by Vijay Kumar, Suresh Gupta, Ricky Kumar, Koushal Sharma, Rocky Sharma and Mohinder Kalsi (Physio).
S. Ranjeet Singh, International Player was the chief guest in today’s proceedings.
