SRINAGAR, Dec 4: A soldier was killed and three others were injured when an Army vehicle met an accident at Ranga morh near Sonamarg in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district today afternoon.
Official sources said the Army vehicle was coming back from Kargil district to Sonamarg and fell into a gorge after the driver of the vehicle lost control over the steering.
They said the mishap resulted in the death of a soldier identified as Sepoy Suheel Kumar Yadav of Uttar Pradesh and injuries to three others. The injured were rescued and rushed to nearby hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
