Note the following stanza from the book under review:
Aarzoo hai yoo chale baad-e-saba,
Har taraf Chhaye Bahar-e-Gulstan.
Har kisi ke dil ko hasil ho Sukoon,
Zindgi har shhakas ki hoh Gul-fishan.
(I wish cool breeze blows every nook and corner of my motherland, where everyone feels safe and secure. Let everyone enjoy here life to the fullest.)
The book entitled “Kahakashan” is well written in simple, stylish and chaste Urdu language, nicely produced, fine printing and is a welcome addition to the literature.
It is getting good response from the literary circles and also the general readership. It is expected that Dr. Udhampuri will make yet more contribution to our language, culture and literature in years to come.
