SNCF organises blood donation camp

JAMMU, Feb 26:  Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF) organized a voluntary blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Marheen in district Kathua, where  91 units of blood was donated by the devotees of the Mission.
The devotees from branch Muthi Rakwalan  and Dyalachak also participated in this camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Bharat Bhushan. While speaking on the occasion he said that blood donation is a very pious and noble act  and need of time as well.  He appealed to all the members of society to come forward for this noble cause.
Ajit Singh, Zonal incharge, SNM, said that even though basically the Mission is a spiritual movement, it has been making a significant contribution towards social welfare activities also.  He said that while launching the series in 1986, Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj said that ‘ blood should flow in veins and not in drains.’  Ever since, lakhs of devotees have been donating their blood every year.
