SMVDU Finance Committee meeting held

KATRA, Dec 18: The 27th meeting of Finance Committee of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University under the chairmanship of Dr Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor SMVDU, was held to deliberate over the Audited Accounts of the university for the Financial Year 2017-18 and to discuss the Revised Budget Estimates for Financial Year 2018-19 along with Budget proposals for FY 2019-20.
At the outset, a brief note on achievements of the University was presented by Dr Sumeet Gupta, Associate Dean (Academics). Thereafter, Romesh Singh, Director Finance, SMVDU & Member Secretary Finance Committee, SMVDU, commenced proceedings of the meeting, agenda wise, whereby Audited Accounts of SMVDU for the FY 2017-18, Revised Budget Estimates for FY 2018-19 and Budget proposals for FY 2019-20 were deliberated and recommended for approval by the University Executive Council.
The members present in the meeting, were Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to Governor, J&K State, R K Goyal, Principal Secretary Home Deptt, Simrandeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB, Prof V K Bhat, Registrar SMVDU, Romesh Singh, Director Finance SMVDU and Hemkant Prasher, Chief Accounts Officer, SMVDSB.
