JAMMU, Mar 18: Alleging that the Mehbooba Mufti Government has completely failed to provide social justice to the weaker sections of the society and safety and protection to their daughters in the State, Social Movement Party (SMP) today demanded resignation of the Chief Minister.
Addressing a press conference here today, National secretary general of SMP, Advocate Ashok Kumar Basotra, said that RSS, its allied wings and political front BJP have started creating wedge amongst the different sections of Indian society in the name of religion throughout the country in view of upcoming Parliamentary elections in 2019.
Basotra further expressed that RSS, its allied wings and political front BJP are hell bent on to crush the Bahujans completely as no decision had been taken by the PDP-BJP Coalition Government with respect to 27% reservation for OBCs as well as reservation in promotion for SCs, STs and OBCs as the tenure of approximately four years of the Coalition Government has passed till now.
