SAMBA, Feb 1: MLA Vijaypur Surjit Singh Slathia laid foundation stone of Community Facility Centre (CFC) at village Khanpur of Ramgarh today. The CFC would be constructed at the cost of Rs. 18 lakh under BADP (Border Area Development Programme).
On the occasion, Slathia inaugurated newly constructed lanes and drains at the estimated cost of Rs. 5 lakh.
Addressing the gathering, Slathia assured the villagers for conceding their pending demands like construction of some lanes, drains, electric poles, replacing electric wires, houses to BPL categories families under Indira Aawas Yojna etc. He also disclosed that on the completion of this CFC people will be able to arrange different function free of cost.
On the occasion Mohinder Singh, Chairman Central Co-operative Bank was also present.
