JAMMU, Aug 24: Taking cognizance of the warning issued by Teaching and Non-Teaching employees, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Jammu has relieved Dr Dileep Kachroo from the charge of Registrar.
Rajesh Talwar, Comptroller SKUAST-Jammu, has been assigned the charge of Registrar in addition to his own duties, till the further orders.
On being relieved from the charge of Registrar, Dr Kachroo has been asked to join back his parent Department, Farming System Research, with immediate effect.
It may be recalled that following an exclusive news story by the Excelsior on controversial decision of the university to withdraw notifications for advertisement of various posts, the SKUAST Teachers Association as well as Non-Teaching Employees Association had served an ultimatum for removal of the incumbent Registrar, who was allegedly instrumental in influencing the resolution for cancellation of the notifications.
