JAMMU, Oct 30: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) is conducting online examination of National Eligibility Test (NET).
Agricultural Services Recruitment Board (ASRB) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi is the nodal agency for conducting NET examination all over India and SKUAST-J is one of the centres for conducting the test.
This year the examination is conducted online at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, R S Pura campus of SKUAST-Jammu from 27 to 31 October, 2014, in which 538 candidates are appearing.
SKUAST-Jammu has state of the art online examination facilities at its R S Pura campus. Besides the candidates from the Jammu and Kashmir State, the candidates from neighbouring States like Himachal Pradesh, Haryana are appearing in the NET at SKUAST-Jammu.
The online examination for NET has substantially reduced the expenses for conducting the examination besides maintaining confidentiality and eliminating leakage.
