SKCC outplays Media-XI by 94 runs

JAMMU, Feb 18: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) drubbed Media-XI Cricket Club by a big margin of 94 runs in a friendly match played at Phylian Mandal cricket ground, here today.
The match was organized by the Subash Chander, former Sarpanch of Mandal, Jammu.
After winning toss, SKCC choose to bat first and set a target of 246, losing 5 wickets in the stipulated 25 overs.
Sachin Manhas scored highest 103 runs off 62 balls, while Anmol Manhas scored 72 off 55 balls.
For Media-XI, Desraj took two wickets. Mir Imran, Yash Khajuria and Nitin took one wicket each.
In reply, Media-XI bundled out for 152 runs and lost the match by 94 runs.
Yash Khajuria scored highest 25 runs off 26 balls for the team, while Nitin contributed 22 runs in 22 balls. From SKCC, Anil took 3 wickets. Sachin Manhas was adjudged as man of the match.
Sohan Bharti maintained the scorebook.
Former Minister and Senior National Conference leader, Ajay Sadhotra was the chief guest during the match, while Subash Chander was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The guests distributed participation medals and certificates among both teams while winning trophy was presented to SKCC team.
Earlier, Captain Media-XI, Mir Imran felicitated guests with souvenirs.
