SJM to give nationwide call on Aug 9 to quit Chinese companies

JAMMU, July 18: The 10 -month long Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) nation wide campaign against use of Chinese goods will culminate with a grand rally on October 29 at Ram Leela Ground New Delhi.
Thousands of activists of Manch and nationalist people from all over the country will join the rally to show their resentment against the China and demand total ban on Chinese goods in India. This was stated by Satish Kumar national president, All India Swadeshi Jagran Manch while talking to reporters here, today.

He said the office bearers of the Manch from J&K held a meeting here today in which the stock of the activities of the Manch in general and the campaign launched by it in the State was taken by its national leaders.
He said in entire country on August 9 on the pattern of East India Movement, Quit China company and products movement will be launched.
He said there is lot of public resentment against the China which is on one side interfering in internal affairs of India, directly supporting Pakistan’s cross border terrorism against India there by posing a security threat to our country and on the other side it is also posing a huge loss to Indian trade annually.
Satish Kumar said that India is losing 52 billion dollar trade to China annually “as we export goods worth nine billion dollars to China against the import of 61.6 billion dollar from that country there by incurring a loss of 52.6 billion dollar annually”. Moreover the manufacturing industry in India is totally affected due to Chinese goods and lakhs of jobs are shifting to China. The Manch wanted to save the industry and also protect the future of Indian youth, he added.
He said to reduce the influence of Chinese trade and goods in Indian market memorandums were submitted across 450 districts to Government of India (GoI) demanding anti dumping duty as wells as high import duty on Chinese goods and raising of tenders to stop import of Chinese goods.
He demanded that Government of India should impose a blanket ban on Chinese goods as China is also becoming a security threat to India by aligning with Pakistan and backing cross border terrorism from Pakistan.
He, while taking serious note of China for backing Jaish-e-Mehmood a dreaded militant outfit of Pakistan, said China Pak Economic Corridor on which China is investing 50 billion dollars is also constructing Korarkaram road on the land of J&K and backing Pakistan against India.
He said China supported Pakistan on the issue of Kulbushan Jadav and India has border issue with China too.
He said Manch has launched the campaign against the use of Chinese goods from January 2017 and it will culminate on October 29, 2017 at Ram Lila Ground Delhi in the form of a grand rally which will be presided over by Arun Ahuja national convener of the Manch and Dr Bhagwati Parkash and Dr Ashwani Mahajan co-conveners of the Manch.
