Singh participates in Northern Regional Police Coordination Conference

JAMMU, Apr 21: Special Director General of Police, J&K, VK Singh participated in DGPs and IGPs 4th Northern Regional Police Coordination Conference, which was held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Senior State police, CPOs, CAPFs, CBI and IB officers participated in the conference.
The main agenda of the conference was terror related issues, de-radicalisation, intelligence sharing mechanism among the member States.
Issues like drug trafficking, cyber crime with online fraud, crimes having inter state ramifications organised crime, wild life crime, human trafficking, vehicles theft, unidentified bodies and missing persons etc. were also in the agenda.
The agenda also include, inter-state criminals their search, seizure and arrest, use of technology in police initiative, police welfare and disaster management/response.
The inter state joint meeting of field level officers at regular intervals and issues relating to CAPFs and CPOs were also focus of the conference.
