Singh CC drubs Champion club by 56 runs

JAMMU, Jan 10: Raju Chowdhary, Managing Director of KC Group of Industries, inaugurated a Cricket Tournament at KC Sports Club ground in an impressive function, here today.
An ardent sports enthusiast and a keen golfer, Mr Chowdhary complimented the Club for promoting the spirit of sportsmanship among the youth of Jammu & Kashmir and endowing them with advanced skills in the highly specialized game of Cricket.
In the inaugural match of the tournament, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor defeated Champion Cricket Club by a big margin of 56 runs.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Singh CC scored a fighting total of 145 runs in the allotted overs. Sumit and Amit scored 43 runs each, while Chandan contributed 36 runs to the total. From Champion Cricket Club, Rishu took 2 wickets.
While chasing the target, Champion Cricket Club bundled out for 89 runs, thus lost the match by 56 runs. Akhil and Akshit contributed 20 and 15 runs to the total respectively. From Singh Cricket Club, Sham Singh Langeh, Rajesh and Amit took 2 wickets each.
